The Tokyo Olympics is over. The Paralympics is currently going on. The pandemic keeps lingering as we are now on our fourth state of emergency in Japan. But the good news is we keep innovating to be relevant as ministries keep "moving along." 
Moving FROM...
(DTO) Dare To Overcome Tokyo that was held last week (Aug 22-23) in the prestigious Sophia University. Taking advantage of the paralympics we wanted to champion Japanese with disabilities. We put together "Create Tomorrow Seminars" with distinguished and inspirational speakers. 

This was in conjunction with the DTO Global virtual conference. The grand finale was a DTO Anthem global choir video that I produced and directed. Many joined this project with 11 soloists from 9 countries and over 200 participants from 16 organizations. This is truly the spirit of Dare To Overcome which supports diverse communities, building inclusive workspaces, and peaceful societies.

Moving TO...
(DIFF) Damah International Film Festival (Oct 1-2) is a short-film festival dedicated to expressing and exploring the power of story. Damah, which is the Hebrew word for “metaphor” or “parable”, values artistic skills that convey a full spectrum of human emotion and experience. In this project, our target are film-makers and movie-industry people in Japan. There are literally only a handful of Japanese Christian film-makers but through DIFF we are able to reach out to these influencers of pop-culture.

Moving ALONG..

(HGF) Hallelujah Gospel Family is getting ready for Fall 2021. Last year was a great milestone as we celebrated our 20th anniversary. From here on we will usher in a new season as we are moving along into the next chapter of reaching Japanese through black gospel workshops.
