New EYEcon.

While we LOVE the old EYEcon, it was mostly representative of M.E. and not the whole of lookpastit.com so, it was time for a change as we expand. After much deliberation, many different versions, we’ve settled on this simple but provoking Pi Eye!

Often a symbol of protection, cycles of death and rebirth, as well as spiritual connection, the Eye of Horus is also known to represent the brain-map to our very real “third eye.” Our Third eye is not an eye in the ocular sense, as are our seeing eyes, but an eye in the sense of sensing beyond our physical senses. When superimposed upon a bisected side-view of the brain, the Eye of Horus aligns with our pineal gland (part of the epithalamus), metathalamus, hypothalamus, thalamus (with the massa intermedia), corpus callosum, cerebellum, olfactory tract, and our brainstem.

But what does all that mean?!

(You could read this compelling article by medical scientists, or…)

Watch our Reality Re-Explained! Episode about the Eye of Horus!

Some of you may have noticed that in place of the ocular “eye” that usually represents the pineal gland and/or thalamus, we’ve used Pi (π). Pi is most known for two things: it’s mathematical function in determining a circle’s area and circumference, and it’s infiniteness as an irrational number that doesn’t end (like .25 ends and is 1/4, one-fourth) or repeat indefinitely (like .166666… repeats indefinitely and is 1/6, one-sixth), but goes on and on and on and on… endlessly. So, while we acknowledge we could have kept the circle that was the ocular eye in the Eye of Horus, we thought it was more fun to be more specific than the circle itself and use the shorthand symbol for Pi to represent the endlessness of existence, and therefore our search to understand it.

With this in-depth look at the Eye of Horus and Pi, it becomes clearer why we chose them to represent lookpastit.com as our new EYEcon.

…from webs.com to enjin.com host!

(If you are unfamiliar, it's not enough anymore to have a domain name [like, lookpastit.com], now the coding/tech is so advanced, if you haven't been keeping up it's practically necessary to also have a host for your domain to actually build the website that will be on it.)

As it turns out, when vistaprint.com bought out webs.com (to complete their full package small-to-large business printing etc company,) they decided that not all of the features webs.com offered to their clients were worth keeping, or viable to keep, or... they just flat weren't keeping them in the merge.

When I contacted vistaprint.com about the apparent missing features (features that were connected and being used on lookpastit.com), I was told they are not making it with the migration from webs.com to vistaprint.com. Nothing was being offered as an alternative. There is no set date on when the migration will be complete, but it will be done by the end of 2021. Surprise!

So, although we have been a clients of webs.com since back when they were freewebs.com, AND clients of vistaprint.com back when it was a fledgling in the market around the same time (late 90s early 2000s), lookpastit.com had to move and re-think our hosting situation.

Every hiccup is a step-up and we were already looking at enjin.com (most known as a gaming forum and site host) as a host for our forum (which we foresee needing after the full launch of the HUD book and of the Reality Re-Explained! webisode series, plus our fan-fiction series "Stargate Nexus") so, now it is proving to be a surprisingly suitable host for the ENTIRE website, not just those forums. Everything in one place, just as we like it!

One of the best parts of the move is having our forums on lookpastit.com so, now, if you use your e-mail to register with us (technically creating an enjin.com account that is then automatically “joined” to our website experience at lookpastit.com, this allows a person to easily join other enjin hosted sites if they want) you can join us on the message boards (forums) in a wide range of topics we’ve sectioned in categories. Even if you don’t want to register to write your own replies and comments and posts, you can read at will! While a lot of the forums are still works in progress, feel free to check them out!

Likewise, this newsletter used to come from news@lookpastit.com but with the host switch, we’ve had to switch e-mail host as well and that is one thing enjin does not provide. Until we find a replacement, you’ll notice this newsletter sent from lookpastit@gmail.com

New Website Host Brings New Forums!

OSIRIS-REx team answers our request!

In our last newsletter we let you know we made a formal request to NASA and the University of Arizona in the OSIRIS-REx mission, to share online the Earth Art Exhibit that is traveling with OSIRIS-REx, preferably on the mission website.

Through a bit of back and forth, we were informed that an online showing hasn’t been possible yet because there are over 7,000 works of art (visual and audio) on that data-chip riding with OSIRIS-Rex!

So, we’re staying in touch and working with the OSIRIS-REx team on a currently tentative plan to dedicate servers and a new domain name to this online display of the exhibition.

Due to the size of this under-taking, and because of the projects (we at lookpastit.com) already have in the works, we are aiming to have the gallery online by 2023 when the mission returns samples of the asteroid to earth!

As such, you will see our forum already include a section for artists who submitted to the ORISIS-REx mission to post about the work they submitted and themselves.

We’re so excited to see all of this coming together and being shared with the world! <3

HUD to HAPPINESS : Volume One

Excerpt from the book: (sans illustrations!)

Emotion Heads-Up Notifications Basics:

Heads-Up #1
If I am feeling emotions,
I am alive and in a physical body!

#2
If the emotion(s) come about gradually,
that is in response to current, present-in-the-now thoughts,
because I’m establishing what I think about it, and therefore what I feel about it.

#3
If the emotion(s) come about suddenly, instantly, a “gut reaction,” “easy button,” that is in response to a perspective (an established line-of-thinking that has been thought previously enough it is a belief or prejudice, a perspective) allowing the signal-relay-network that is my emotion-physiology to be pre-established and practiced into speedy responsiveness that I feel before I am aware of consciously thinking.

#4
If an emotion escalates, regardless of how fast or slow,
it is an indication of “that” current thought being sustained (followed to similar thoughts) or consistently repeated like a mantra or just in echo.
With enough consistency and repetition, these notifications become gut-reactions, become perspectives (established lines-of-thought), and I’ll get a #3 heads-up about it from then on.

#5
If the emotion feels bad or worse than bad,
the thought (current) or perspective (established) is personally dis-satisfying and dis-empowering!

#6
If the emotion feels good or better than good,
the thought (current) or perspective (established) is personally fulfilling and empowering!

PRE-SALE ENDs: September 30th & the price WILL increase!

Stargate Nexus

We see some people’s eyes glaze over when we talk about infinity, emotions as a HUD, quantum entanglement, our vibrational universe, energy-physics, real mind over matter stuff and so on, and we thought…

How can we convey all of these things (and more) in a way that is so fun and entertaining people don’t even know they are learning?!

Maybe too, we were so inspired by the entire Stargate franchise, we decided not to wait anymore for the next installment, but to envision our own fan-fiction version that could also serve as the basis for our Reality Re-Explained! disclosures. The Stargate Movie, Stargate SG-1, (Stargate’s Ark of Truth & Continuum films,) Stargate Atlantis, Universe, and Origins are all full of soft-disclosures, and real sciences well distorted and disguised as pseudo-TV-sciences. It’s fun!

so…

STARGATE NEXUS

Stargate Nexus is a free to watch, YouTube webisode, legal fan-fiction, machinema series made by fans (us) for fans (us & everyone else.) We’re honoring the original and real Stargate Franchise copyright trademarked by MGM and StudioCanal, while also expanding the established lore by looking at it in a slightly-but-significantly new way, the Reality Re-Explained! way…

Stargate Nexus is also designed to become a multi-player online role-playing game played out on a Second Life simulator, or “sim.” The same “places” or “sets” seen in the webisodes will be the same playgrounds or sims that players can play out their own Stargate stories. More than that though, the webisode series will become a part of the in-character experience on sim, and the events and occurrences that the players create in their Stargate stories will become parts of the future episodes!

All of it centers around the (fan-fiction imagined) SG-team’s adventures following the discovery of an Ancient’s Database reference to ‘proof’ of a “primordial intelligence” pre-dating the Ancients!
For long-time fans, we know you’re thinking about SGU and the reveal of Destiny’s main directive, and while we will address it, that’s not what we’re referring to so, tune in if you want to find out!
