Daniel's Story

Daniel was having trouble controlling his emotions. He would often get frustrated and become disruptive in class when things didn’t go his way. His CIS Site Coordinator has been able to teach him coping skills to better control his emotions and has seen positive steps by Daniel in a short time.

Back in Schools and Beyond

As kids return to schools this Fall, Communities In Schools® (CIS™) is doing whatever it takes to provide them with the tools and resources to succeed. This August, affiliates across the country are holding school supply drives, back to school gatherings, and “reorientations” to prepare students for the upcoming school year.
