Monday, September 6th, Labor Day, No Classes
With no school on Monday, Tuesday is a regular Gold Odd Period Day so students will start the week in Period 1. This weekend, enjoy some family time and have some fun! Click here to see a list of Things to Do in Denver.
Masks
Anyone at North must wear their masks over their nose and mouth at all times. Most of our students are doing great, but some of our students are not bringing masks to school or are not keeping their mask over their nose. Please remind students to do their part to keep themselves and those around them safe.
Before/ After School Programming
City Year will be providing before and after school programming starting next week. Enrollment forms are available from City Year in room A204 or from a City Year member.
*Before School Tue and Thu from 7:30am - 8:15am (if there is a good turn out, this may be expanded to other days of the week.
*After School until 5:00pm in room 204
CSC - Collaborative School Committee
The CSC is an advisory committee who helps make high level decisions for North. If you are interested in being a part of this committee, complete the form below. Sept 24th to Oct 8th, October Count Window - Oct. 1, Student Count Day
October Count is both a day & a window. October Count Window is Friday September 24th- Friday October 8th. October Count Day is October 1st, and is the official student membership count for all Colorado public school districts mandated by the Colorado Department of Education. Simulacro de Cierre en North, Hoy 9/2/2021

Lunes 6 de septiembre, Día del Trabajo, No hay clases

Cubrebocas
Todas las personas en North debe usar sus cubrebocas sobre la nariz y la boca en todo momento. La mayoría de nuestros estudiantes lo están haciendo muy bien, pero algunos de nuestros estudiantes no traen cubrebocas a la escuela o no se cubren la nariz con el cubrebocas. Por favor, recuerde a los estudiantes que hagan su parte para mantenerse seguros a sí mismos y a quienes los rodean.

Octubre Count es tanto un día como una ventana. La ventana de conteo de octubre es del viernes 24 de septiembre al viernes 8 de octubre. El día del conteo de octubre es el 1 de octubre y es el conteo oficial de membresía estudiantil para todos los distritos escolares públicos de Colorado exigidos por el Departamento de Educación de Colorado. Por favor planifique con anticipación y asegúrese de que su estudiante llegue a tiempo y asista a todas sus clases durante este tiempo. COVID-19 Update and Vaccines

Our amazing nursing team is diligently working to support all students related to health, specifically related to COVID-19 and we have THE BEST TEAM! We will notify any impacted by COVID-19 at North, so you can rest assured that you will be kept in the loop! If your student has any symptoms, please keep them at home and notify our attendance team.
Also, starting next week during Tuesdays and Thursdays the North clinic will have 18 COVID vaccines available each day. To make an appointment for students, families can call the clinic - 720.423-2718. Please encourage your student to receive their vaccine if they haven’t yet.
Nuestro increíble equipo de enfermería está trabajando diligentemente para apoyar a todos los estudiantes relacionados con la salud, específicamente relacionados con COVID-19, ¡y tenemos EL MEJOR EQUIPO! Back to School Night
We are excited to offer a blended Back to School Night experience for our students and families at North! On the evening of Tuesday, September 14th, 2021, starting at 5:30 pm, North families and students will have the opportunity to engage in sessions both virtually and in person. Virtual presentations will be emailed to families about North classes, schedules and all the planning related to the 2021-2022 school year. In addition, we will be providing opportunities to engage in person at North, to meet our staff and enjoy presentations from North students and other community organizations.
At this time, we are looking for community organizations/businesses to come and share their information or services with our families at North, sponsors for the event, and volunteers. Noche de Regreso A La Escuela
¡Estamos emocionados de ofrecer una experiencia combinada de Noche de Regreso a Clases para nuestros estudiantes y familias en North! I offer several programs that help students gain career experience.
