The bell schedule has been adjusted slightly to accommodate the one-way hallways, allowing students 7 minutes between classes.

Beginning Friday, September 3, all cars exiting from campus must turn right onto Dixon Drive in order to create better traffic flow. View all updates here.

For all in-person students 9th-12th grades. Seniors will take the picture for ID purposes (it does not replace their Yearbook Portrait picture). Students need to get their appointment time from their 2nd period teacher. Virtual Academy students will be scheduled for October 20th on the retake day. Sanderson PTO needs YOU and your talents! The PTO supports a lot of awesome programs that directly affect our students at Sanderson. It takes many hands to get the work done. We have opportunities that require little time or more time, little skill or all the skills. In other words we could use YOU!

Please indicate your interests by submitting your information HERE. If you don't know what you could do, we promise that we can find a place for you. Support our students today!

PTO representatives will be selling merchandise (including Class of 2025 magnets!) and accepting memberships at our home football game against Heritage on Friday, September 10th. We hope to see you there!

Sanderson Theater - Clue on Stage - tryouts this week

Auditions are after school in the auditorium TODAY, September 1st. Call backs: September 2nd. No previous experience required.

Want to help with costumes, sets, lighting, sound, props, and more? Tech interviews will be held Friday, September 3rd (sign-up is required).

Save the date of Saturday, October 23rd for the Capital City Band EXPO held at Sanderson!

This is an all day competition of up to 20 bands and a GREAT opportunity to get volunteer hours. Please let us know you can help by emailing band boosters or registering on the band website.

Fall band concert is October 19th.

The No-Fuss Fundraiser will kick off during the PTA General Membership meeting on September 30th! We will have various giving levels, raffles, and rewards to help us reach our $25,000 goal. Let’s get ready to show we are #SpartanStrong! #ComingSoon!

College Essay Review Sessions for Sanderson Seniors

Sign up for a FREE (thanks to the PTO) 15-minute Google Meet review session and learn how to market yourself to universities with essays that showcase your writing strengths and personal narratives.

Thanks to all of our AWESOME parent volunteers and SHS Staff who came together to shower our kids with some love for their last first day of high school. The SHS Class of 2022 was able to carry on school traditions of decorating parking spots, senior breakfast, and car caravan to school… IN PERSON!

Our school is now sparkling clean with a fresh coat of paint on all of those handrails :)
