ATTENTION!
Do you Have a Compromised/Weak Immune System?

The U.S. C.D.C. (Center for Disease Control & Prevention) has just authorized a 3rd dose of the Pfizer & Moderna Covid 19 vaccines for persons with current cancer treatment, organ transplants, on dialysis, & other immune-compromised persons.  No prescription or doctor’s letter is needed, but the 3rd dose must be at least 4 weeks after the 2nd dose.  Also, the vaccine must be the same vaccine brand as the first 2 doses.   For your information, CVS is distributing 3rd doses of both the Pfizer & Moderna vaccines.  The C.D.C. hasn’t approved any additional dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.  You may walk- in, make an appointment online at cvs.com/coronavirus, or by phone by calling a CVS Pharmacy.   NOTE: In Fairfield, the only participating CVS pharmacies are at Grasmere Avenue & downtown on the Post Road.   Ask your doctor about your need for a 3rd dose of the vaccine.   Gov. Lamont says  that any Covid vaccination site may offer the additional dose to walk-ins or by appointment, but it would be wise to confirm in advance if the venue is currently administering a 3rd dose & if that location has the brand of vaccine that you need in stock.   Of course, you may use the provider of your choice.

FGUMC e-Book
for the occasion of our
65th Anniversary

This beautiful e-Book (put together by church member, Anne Ewing) has photos and articles about our church and members.  A preview was presented at last Sunday's service.  It is accessible on the FGUMC website. This project was originally the idea of Pastor Cho's, and although it was started to be a magazine celebrating our 65th Anniversary, it has evolved into an ongoing ministry featuring the growth of our membership and fellowship. The e-book will be updated as timely as possible.
