2021-22 Behavior Change for Good Virtual Event Series: Authors@BCFG

We’re thrilled to announce the launch of a new Behavior Change for Good virtual event series: Authors@BCFG. This series will feature interviews with BCFG Team Scientists who have written new books aimed at a popular audience. We hope you’ll join us for these exciting conversations!

These events will take place roughly once a month on Fridays from 12:00 - 12:45 PM ET. We’ve shared the schedule for our Fall 2021 events below so you can mark the dates on your calendar (our Winter/Spring 2022 dates will be announced later).

Our first event will feature Jay Van Bavel (Professor at NYU), who will discuss his new book, The Power of Us on Friday, September 24th from 12:00-12:45 PM ET.

Future Events will include:

  • A conversation with Eric Johnson (Professor at Columbia University) about his forthcoming book The Elements of Choice (October 15, 2021)
  • A panel discussion with the authors of several recent noteworthy books: Dolly Chugh (Professor at NYU and author of The Person You Mean to Be), Bob Cialdini (Emeritus Professor at Arizona State University and author of Influence), Cass Sunstein (Professor at Harvard University and recent author of Sludge, Noise and Nudge), and Wendy Wood (Professor at USC and author of Good Habits, Bad Habits) (December 3, 2021)
  • A conversation with Ayelet Fishbach (Professor at the University of Chicago) about her forthcoming book Get It Done
  • A conversation with John List (Professor at the University of Chicago) about his forthcoming book The Voltage Effect
  • And more!
To attend, just register here to get a Zoom link for each event. Please feel free to forward this announcement to anyone who might be interested.
Thanks for your interest in the work we do at The Behavior Change for Good Initiative!

P.S.  We won’t be holding a weekly research seminar series this year in deference to the many universities (including our own) that have returned to holding in-person events. However, videos of the events from last year’s popular seminar series are available on our YouTube Channel at: https://bit.ly/bcfgvideos
