Tasmanian response: Vaccine bookings open for 12 to 15 year olds
The Tasmanian Government has this afternoon announced that bookings are now open to all 12 to 15 year olds in the state to be vaccinated against COVID-19.

Vaccinations for this age group will start on 13 September. Young people booking into a clinic should attend with their parent or guardian, and both are encouraged to have a conversation and complete their consent form together on the day.

Bookings can be made online by ringing the Public Health Hotline on 1800 671 738.
Tasmanian response: Correction to Public Health Hotline number
The edition of Primary Health Update issued earlier this afternoon included an incorrect phone number in an item about access to the Pfizer vaccine for pregnant women.

The correct number for the Public Health Hotline is 1800 671 738.
