ARSUTORIA One-Week Webinars
In an effort to provide the industry and our members with the latest in trend information, EFLC and SAFLEC negotiated with ARUSTORIA to conduct the workshops, which are normally held physically, through a virtual platform. This is the 2nd virtual workshop that has been held, due to the restraints of COVID-19. This negotiation was to ensure that we could still bring our members the vital information that lends to design and the global market changes.

Footwear
The ARUSTORIA footwear webinar was held over the first week in August (02-06), with over 22 companies in participation. The webinar was presented by Orietta Pelizzari: owner of Mattori Studio-Trend forecaster/consulting agency specialised in fashion and consumer trends, product development, retail and shopping experience and brand scouting for the fashion industry. It is based in Milan and active worldwide.
Orietta provided advice on the colours, materials, and trends for fall/winter 2022/23.

Handbags & Leather Goods
The ARUSTORIA Handbags & Leather Goods webinar was held over the second week in August (10-13) with over 20 participants.
BRICS Trade Fair
SAFLEC companies were given an opportunity to exhibit at the recent BRIC exhibition. The 2021 BRICS summit was the thirteenth annual BRICS summit, an international relations conference attended by the heads of state or heads of government of the five member states Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa. It was the third time that India hosted the BRICS Summit after 2012 and 2016. It was also the first time since inception that the summit was held on a virtual platform.

The workshop was attended by over 20 participants and was held on the 4th of August 2021.
