We thank God for a successful start to another school year. All of our new staff were able to come to Prague, some of our staff have changed positions, and there are many new students. We plan to send this newsletter quarterly to keep you updated on all that is happening at CISP. For daily updates, don't forget to follow us on Facebook, Instagram, and now also LinkedIn.

On the first day of school, each student rotated between the following activities:
- Meeting fellow students in their homeroom
- Playing games with Mr. Wunderink and Mr. Cavett
- Enjoying sports on the pitch with Ms. Birr, Ms. Chumbley and, Mr. Lillard
- Sign up for Basketball/Volleyball teams
- Checking out a Chromebook
- Learning about MLA and Plagiarism
- Reviewing school rules and procedures
- Receiving a locker key
Around noon, all the students ended up in the chapel where there was time for worship and a message from our Chaplain Jeff Rogers.
The day ended with a picnic in Folimanka Park which, was also open to CISP parents and alumni. Many families attended and it was a great time to connect with new parents and see familiar faces.

CISP wants to reconnect with alumni! If you are an alumnus (anyone who attended CISP, even if you aren't a CISP graduate), you are welcome to join the Christian International School of Prague Alumni group on LinkedIn. Feel free to invite any alumni you know to this group.
We hope to plan some events for you and will use our LinkedIn group to keep you up to date.

Coming Up
- ACSI Accreditation visit - A team of four is coming to CISP; we are looking forward to welcoming them.
- This year instead of Secondary retreats there will be activity days for middle school and high school students.
- Intramural volleyball games
- Standardized Testing for elementary and middle school
- SAT Testing for High School
- P/T Conferences will be held in October
- Saint Wenceslas Day is on the 28th of September.
- Independent Czechoslovak State Day is on the 28th of October
- Struggle for Freedom and Democracy Day is on the 17th of November

CISP is growing and because of this, our building on Legerova is becoming too small. The goal of the Aspire Fund is to gain enough funding to have a building of our own.

The CISP Fellowship Fund provides student scholarships and teacher stipends to help meet extraordinary needs so individuals like Z, M, and J can be part of the CISP family. CISP, in turn, is enriched by the God-given gifts, opportunities, and diversity that these individuals bring.
