The Latinx Graduate & Professional Network (LGPN), Mizzou SACNAS, and
MU Voz Latina invite you to the:

Latino Family Picnic
Sunday, Sept. 12, 2021,
3-7pm
Hulen Lake Shelter House (intersection of Martin Dr. and Bourn Ave.)

¡TODOS BIENVENIDOS!
All are welcome – this is a family-friendly event.

Open to MU faculty, staff, students, and the Columbia community. MU Voz Latina and LGPN will provide main dishes (fried chicken and barbequed options). Please bring a side dish from your country, region, or culture to share.

Music, dancing, games, and activities for adults and children.

This activity is outside. We request all attendees to maintain social distance, and use a mask when not able.

Originally founded in 1999 as the MU Hispanic Latin American Faculty & Staff Association (HLAFSA), the vision of MU Voz Latina is to communicate interests, concerns and awareness of Hispanics and Latin Americans at the University of Missouri; assist in recruitment and retention of Hispanic/Latino(a) faculty, staff and students at MU; foster the educational missions of our university, and progress of our faculty and staff through the ranks; and enhance multicultural knowledge of Hispanics/ Latino(a)s among faculty, staff, administration, and students of the University of Missouri and the community

Fundado en el 1999 como MU Hispanic Latin American Faculty & Staff Association (HLAFSA - la Asociación de Académicos y Empleados Latinoamericanos Hispanos), la visión de MU Voz Latina es comunicar y concientizar de los intereses y preocupaciones de los hispanos y latinos de la Universidad de Missouri; apoyar el reclutamiento, contratación y retención de profesores, empleados y estudiantes latinos en MU; fomentar la misión educativa de la universidad; apoyar el progreso de profesores y empleados en sus carreras; y mejorar el conocimiento multicultural sobre hispanos/latinos dentro del campus y la comunidad de Columbia.
