Dear Friends,

The School year has begun, activities are under way, and the New Year beginning with Rosh Hashanah on Monday evening next week, is upon us! The time now is traditionally spent with introspection on the year that was, while looking excitingly forward to a year that will be, with G-d's blessing, filled with sweetness and happiness for all.

Some exciting announcements to share with the Friendship Circle community. Firstly, a hearty Mazal Tov to Zally and Esti Lazarus on the birth of Faiga Roza, born on Friday, August 27. May she bring nachas and joy to all.

On behalf of all the Friendship Circle families and friends, we would like to wish a warm welcome to Audrey Goodman, who will be the interim Teen Volunteer Co-ordinator for the coming year ahead. Audrey will be continuing her studies this year in Houston, and being a long time friend of the Friendship Circle and an active volunteer during High School, her joining the Friendship Circle staff is a more than welcome addition. Welcome!

For the second year running, The Houston Friendship Circle has offered flavored creamed honey and gift sets for purchase, to be enjoyed at your Rosh Hashanah table, or gifted to family or friends. There are some of the flavors and gift sets still available, for pickup or Houston delivery only. Don't wait, order at
ww.friendshiphouston.com/honey

Wishing y'all a Shanah Tovah U'metukah. We look forward to a year spent together, filled with goodness, sweetness and friendship.
