Public Consultation - Forest of Dean District Council Climate Emergency Strategy and Action Plan

Hello!

This is a reminder that Forest of Dean District Council is carrying out a public consultation on its new draft Climate Emergency Strategy and Action Plan 2022-25.

Residents, businesses and visitors are invited to provide feedback on the Strategy and Action Plan so that it can be developed further, taking into consideration the diverse range of perspectives and local knowledge found within the district.

We know what we must achieve as a district in order to become carbon neutral; more renewable energy generation, energy efficient buildings, clean modes of transport, a local circular economy, regenerative land management, greater community resilience etc. However, we need YOU to have YOUR say on how the Council can help us get there and ensure the transition works for everyone.

The consultation period has been extended and will now close on Thursday 23rd September.
