Hello <<First Name>>,

It's soon, it's soon - it's actual, in-person craft fair time. TWO of them. HOORAY! It has been too long since we have had this opportunity to mingle and be inspired.

But first, let's look at the latest toasty hats!

Golden Fire Sisters 🔥

Two Fire Inspired Berets

Yes, two similar, but not exactly the same, Fire Berets can be found on my website.

As seen in the collage, the one on the left side is larger in size and detail, with the swoop on the tip of the hat being more dramatic. Whereas, the beret on the right is more modest in design and is a snug medium-small in size.

If you are interested, the previously seen Flaming Orange Pixie Hood is still available. While it's a perfectly wearable everyday hat, it also could be your Halloween costume!

I've grouped these orange-colored 'Elemental Crowns' into a small collection, which I would ideally like to add to in the future. Already, there is Wind in the form of the Teal Hood. Now, all we need is an Earth Hood. Perhaps, something in greens, yes?!

AFIP
Poster for A Fair in the Park - Pittsburgh

When I moved to Pittsburgh seven years ago, AFIP, otherwise known as A Fair in the Park, was the very first craft fair that I visited (and applied to and participated in).

Naturally, I fell in love with A Fair in the Park because it is set in the tree-filled Mellon Park, which even has a walled garden. The whole place reminds me of being in that Seurat Painting, A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande JatteReally a charming place to stroll!

Anyway, this is the 52nd year for the Fair, where you can find 80 local and national fine craftspeople (including me, FeltHappiness!). It is THIS September, 10th through 12th. (This year, the fair is slightly smaller to allow more spacing between artists' booths.)

The weekend after AFIP, find me at Fall Crafts at Lyndhurst, in Tarrytown NY. It runs from September 17th through 19th. (Note: if you are concerned about Covid-19, the Lyndhurst Estate requires that visitors have Proof of Vaccination or a Negative Test Result.)

Here's a link to where you can purchase tickets to the Estate where Fall Crafts at Lyndhurst occurs. If you like, there is a discount coupon here

If you have any questions about either event, please let me know. Next week, when I receive my booth number for AFIP, I will share it with you.

Thank you for joining me today. Hope to see you next week!

With appreciation,

Signature of me, Juliane

PS: Do you like to listen to podcasts while you work/do things with your hands? I have found a good one - GrantonDesign! So far, my favorite is the one with inventor Dominic Wilcox. Very whimsical and thought provoking creations!
