CMS Population and Sampling (optional)* | Due: Monday, November 1, 2021
  • Patients seen Q2 2021 (April, May, June) 
  • Outpatient and Inpatient measures
  • Entered via the HQR HARP Account
*Population and sampling refers to the recording of the number of cases the hospital is submitting to the HARP account. Reporting of population and sampling data is strongly encouraged but not required in order for your data to be submitted to CMS
CMS Outpatient Measures: OP-2, OP-3, OP-18 | Due: Monday, November 1, 2021
  • Patients seen Q2 2021 (April, May June)
  • CART version 1.19.1
  • CMS Hospital Outpatient Reporting Specifications Manual version 14.0b
  • Submitted to the HQR via CART or by vendor 

CMS Inpatient Measures*: | Due: Monday, November 15, 2021
  • Patients seen Q2 2021 (April, May, June)
  • CART version 4.27.1
  • CMS Hospital Outpatient Reporting Specifications Manual version 5.9
  • Submitted to the QualityNet warehouse via CART or by vendor 
*Currently there are no inpatient core MBQIP measures required, but some hospitals are still reporting some inpatient measures

Upcoming Office Hours!  Ask Robyn – Quarterly Open Office Hour Call for Data Abstractors | Tuesday, October 12, 2021, 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. CT Register  
Sometimes it just helps to talk to someone! Quality Reporting Specialist Robyn Carlson offers open office hour calls to discuss your MBQIP abstraction questions. Sessions are free of charge, but registration is required. Starting in 2021, the Quarterly Office hours are now hosted using the Zoom platform. Telephone-only participation will still be an option. For more information about the Ask Robyn calls, contact Robyn Carlson (rcarlson@stratishealth.org).
