Be part of something GREAT this year!
We have several big things happening this month:

TREC Teacher Survey--complete it today! Your voice and experiences as an educator are important. Much has changed since our first educator professional learning needs and resources survey in January of 2019. This new survey will take approx. 10 - 15 minutes to complete and all responses will be anonymous. The survey is comprised of three key parts: Part 1: Teaching and professional learning experiences; Part 2: TREC website; and Part 3: COVID-19 experiences. The survey will be open until Friday, September 17th.

Information Session for Communities of Practice (CoPs), Tuesday, September 7th from 4:30 - 5:30 online. TREC is launching a variety of CoPs to offer differentiated professional learning opportunities for educators. Join us Tuesday to learn about this year's CoPs :
  • Onward Book Studies
  • Trauma-Informed Educator CoP
  • Leading While Female CoP
  • Visual Art CoP
  • TREC Teams (for teachers with 3+ years of experience)
These CoPs will reach across districts and bring together educators to broaden their professional learning and build upon their knowledge and expertise.

We are accepting TREC Advisory Board Nominations. Are you interested in being on the TREC Advisory Board or know someone who would be great?  We accepting nominations until Sept. 10th.

Finally, a big thank you to everyone who attended the TREC Fall Retreat last Friday. This group of 40+ educators/teachers, community partners, and PD Providers worked to finalize the teacher survey and plan the TREC CoPs. If you are interested in joining the Spring retreat please email me: jkinser@arizona.edu
