Preparations have begun for the 2021-22 Season and it is time to renew your club membership. We look forward to hosting an official Registration Day to meet and welcome our new members once the Eurobodalla opens up again but until then, why not begin the process online.

Get involved. Looking for members interested in being on our sub-committees now.

We are looking for expressions of interest from members wishing to help in various areas of our club for the 2021-22 season.

Nippers
The Nippers season will be a cracker when it gets going. Let's get all of the wonderful helpers together to form a subcommittee. We haven't had a formal subcommittee before so this will not be reinventing the wheel, simply giving us a forum to collaborate and communicate easily.

Recognition
Interested in helping us recognising our members for the great work that they do? It would be great if we had a small group to help develop a nomination process and assist with our end of season awards presentation. New ideas welcome.

Constitution
Our club constitution is overdue for an update. Thankfully SLSNSW have done the hard work by releasing a template for us to start from. Anyone who has an interest or experience in developing this document for our future, please apply.

Building
Have a background in building and development? Interested in the long term development of our clubhouse buildings? We would love to have big picture plans put in place for the future of our club. Think disabled access, think about how we can make our venue more accessible and appealing to both our members and the community.

The Far South Coast Branch of Surf Life Saving NSW is receiving an honorary award from the University of Wollongong.

The UOW Community Fellowship Award is the highest honour UOW can bestow in recognition of a community organisation, and the prestigious award recognises outstanding community leadership and the provision of services that transform lives and communities.

The Far South Coast Branch is being honoured for our community service in supporting both residents and visitors to the region with disaster assistance during the bushfire crisis in the summer of 2019/2020, and our ongoing efforts to build resilience in our communities.

Whilst the initial plan was to celebrate the award conferral in-person at Bermagui Surf Club, due to the ongoing public health orders around COVID-19 the event will now occur virtually!

As a valued member of our Club, we’d love for you to join us for this special online ceremony.
