OWN VOICE. ~ InPerspective by Gregg Dieguez —
As a parent who had a developmentally disabled child (and notice my use of the past tense), I can empathize with the first part of the Big Wave project. However, that doesn’t mean I expected my neighbors to pay for his care. The issue tonight is, given the way Big Wave is progressing, that it looks like MidCoast residents may be subsidizing that project, and I don’t view that as equitable. And especially not when it turns into an office park, or into commercial properties.True Costs of Development

LOTS OF MAPS!
Do you know where your water comes from?
Do you know where you poop goes?
And who pays the bills for the lawsuit?
Gregg Dieguez has looked at the HMB legal fees and says the lawsuit costs are being paid from the HMB general fund. So Miramar and Frenchman’s Creek are paying for those fees. All GCSD’s lawsuit costs are being paid for by sewer fees, which those folks pay as well.

Sanchez Art Center is delighted to present its 13th annual 50|50 Show, Sept 10–Oct 10.
Juried by Shannon Trimble of Anglim/Trimble Gallery in San Francisco. Participating artists create 50 small artworks within a time span of 50 days, a challenge requiring dedication, creativity, and courage. With its stunning display of originality plus the affordability of the artworks, this highly anticipated exhibition at Sanchez Art Center is known throughout the greater San Francisco Bay Area and beyond. The ability of artists to share their creative work has continued to be severely impacted during this extraordinarily difficult time of pandemic—a time when we need more than ever to cherish the experience of self-expression, exploration, and joy that art provides. SAC is honored to support these artists and the wider community.
