Webinar: Road towards the approval of the Law against Political Violence against Women
The virtual meeting "Road towards the approval of the Law against Political Violence against Women", held on August 25, 2021, was organized by the Inter-American Commission of Women (CIM), International IDEA, the Grupo Impulsor de la Paridad Democrática, and the Permanent Advisory Committee on Equity and Gender of the Senate of Paraguay with the support of the European Union. The webinar was convened by Senator Lilian Samaniego and included the participation of the Executive Secretary of the CIM, Alejandra Mora Mora, who gave a regional overview on the importance of legislating against violence against women in politics.

International Congress on Care and Co-responsibility with a Gender Perspective
The "International Congress on Caregiving and Co-responsibility with a Gender Perspective", organized by the Justice and Gender Foundation with the support of the Inter-American Commission of Women (CIM), Oxfam and UN Women, was held on August 11, 12 and 13, 2021. The Executive Secretary of the CIM, Alejandra Mora Mora, participated in the opening and spoke on the political panel about the progress and challenges of the region in the area of care, as well as the work of the CIM in this area.

Allies for Action: A Better Future for Girls and Adolescents
The Inter-American Commission of Women (CIM), along with other international organizations, made a commitment to be part of "Allies for Action" to prevent child marriage and early unions. On August 18, 2021, the first webinar was held to address the issue specifically in Latin America and the Caribbean. The meeting was attended by youth activists and regional specialists.
