General
Attention 16, 17 and 18 year old Mustangs! We will be hosting a blood drive on Tuesday, September 14th in the small gym. Sign ups begin this week Wednesday, Thursday and Friday in the Commons
during lunches. Contact Mrs. Erzig in the PE office or via email with any questions. Thank you for considering donating blood and helping save a life!
ATTENTION STUDENTS: If a parent or guardian are dropping off items to school, students can pick up at the Security office. NO restaurant lunches can be delivered to school.
Just a reminder: if you are arriving late to school or leaving early, please check in at the Attendance Office A105.
Activities
Do you like to read? Do you enjoy having conversations about books? If so, Mustang Book Club is looking for you. Come join Mustang Book Club for our first meeting of the year on TOday at 3:30 in the library. Email Ms. Alore or Ms. Rogers for more details.
If you enjoy doing service activities and getting involved in your school, you should come learn about Key Club! All students are invited to the first Key Club meeting on Thursday, September 9 at 3:30 in C264! You will learn what Key Club is, and hear about some of the service activities
we will be doing this year. We hope to see you there!
Are you interested in volunteering out in the community? Then come to the Mustangs Aware meeting tomorrow at 7:40 in C152. Excited to see you there, bring a friend! For information, contact Mrs. Emmens
Mindful Mustangs Club is back! Our first information meeting is Wednesday Sept 8, 7:30am in A110A (The Alumni Room off the Cafeteria). Mindful Mustangs Club will have leadership opportunities and
plenty of resources on how to manage your stress! Meeting are short and in the mornings! Any questions email Mrs. Franz

Orchesis Dance Company Auditions are TODAY, Tuesday September 7th in the dance studio! Freshmen and Sophomores should attend from 3:30-5:00 and Juniors and Seniors should attend from 5:00-6:30. Dancers should wear all black and come prepared to participate in a jazz dance class. See Mrs. Henrikson in the PE office with questions. See you then!
Are you interested in acting, public speaking, or debate? Then you should join the DGS speech team! An informational meeting will be held in the DGS courtyard after school @3:30 on Wednesday, September 8th. So bring a friend and get ready to be part of a winning tradition!

Mambo, bachata, cha-cha-cha, and cumbia - learn these dances and more as a part of Caribbean Soul Dance Troupe. No dance experience is required and all are welcome! Come to our first meeting of the school year on Monday, September 13 at 3:30 pm in room A207. See Ms. Deneufbourg for more information.
Our Out of This World Homecoming Dance will be on Saturday, September 25th from 6:30 PM - 9:30 PM outside at DGS Stadium on the football field. Guest Pass Permission Forms for the dance will be available Tuesday, September 7th outside of the Deans' office & must be submitted by Friday, September 17th. Tickets will be digital. Be sure to provide a valid email address for yourself & your guest.
Athletics
Attention any athlete that is interested in trying out for girls basketball--There will be a mandatory pre-season meeting on Wednesday, September 8th at 7:15AM in Room C164 or after school on Wednesday, September 8th at 3:25PM in C164. Please be on time! Contact Coach Long with any questions!
Are you ready to get your swole on? Then come and join the DGS Wrestling's Fall Strength & Conditioning program. Starting this week, we will lift Monday, Wednesday, & Friday from 3:30-5:00 PM in the weight room through November 5th. It is open to ALL, you just need an open mind & strong work ethic.
