Amazon, Georgia Tech, and Pharrell Williams uplift student voices.CEISMC and Georgia Tech were excited to partner with Amazon Future Engineer and Yellow to bring a competition to students across continent exploring the intersection of music, equity, entrepreneurship, and computer science. Students coded a remix using EarSketch to Pharrell’s hit single “Entrepreneur" that included a message to promote equity. This year, submissions totaled over 1,500 entries from 27 states and 2 provinces! |

| AMP-IT-UP 7th Grade Science Module Featured in NSTA Science Scope Magazine The 1-week middle school science module “Under the Sea”, created as part of the NSF-supported AMP-IT-UP program, was featured in the June/July 2021 issue of NSTA’s Science Scope magazine. This issue features curricula that support visual literacy and data visualization. Under the Sea highlights the Deepwater Horizon oil spill. |

Engage your students in the invention, engineering, and entrepreneurial curriculum through K-12 InVenture Prize. Through registering your school, you will gain access to a free K-12 invention curriculum and events access to events to prepare for K-12 InVenture Prize competition such as Mock Pitch Day. |

| Space Day Atlanta Announced.The Georgia Space Grant Consortium, in partnership with Georgia Tech's School of Aerospace Engineering (GTAE), is hosting an outdoor hands-on space-focused STEM showcase on Saturday, October 9, 2021. GSGC, along with its affiliates and partners from across Atlanta and Georgia, will host a series of STEM/STEAM engagement activities celebrating SPACE and highlighting related degrees and careers. Reservations are required and space is limited. Wrist bands will be issued upon check-in. Participants should wear masks for optional indoor talks. |
