Virtual Public Meeting: Parking Requirements

The City of St. Pete Beach is in the process of reviewing and updating the off-street parking requirements as they pertain to commercial businesses, such as restaurants and hotels.
To gain as much resident input as possible, the City will be holding a meeting to discuss potential off-street parking management strategies on September 8, 2021 at 5:00pm.

This meeting will be available for viewing and comments/questions via Zoom.

Gulf Blvd. Update

Stormwater Drainage Project on 36th Ave. 


The Florida Department of Transportation began a stormwater drainage project on 36th Avenue between Gulf Boulevard and Maritana Drive.


Detour signs are installed and traffic will be restricted to local traffic only for a period of approximately one month.

Thursday, September 9 – Small Business Hub: “What’s a Good Idea?”-For a Business, at 3:00 p.m. The first of a series of free educational workshops for local entrepreneurs and business owners, presented by Pinellas County SCORE. Visit the library’s Small Business Hub for a complete listing of courses and individual mentoring sessions.

Grant Awarded to Conduct Historic Survey


St. Pete Beach is proud to announce the receipt of a $50,000 grant from the Florida State Division of Historical Resources. This project is sponsored in part by the Department of State, Division of Historical Resources and the State of Florida. The money is allocated toward conducting an historic survey of the Don CeSar Place Neighborhood and a portion of the Belle Vista Neighborhood.
