These are the ones we were waiting for…
Unless you have been playing Rip Van Winkle, you probably have seen or heard about the two new editions to the R18 Heritage Line.First Edition R18 and the R18 Classic have been joined by the R18 Bagger and the R18 Transcontinental.
The Bagger and Transcontinental have an analog cockpit with a new feature borrowed from big brother Rolls Royce. Called Power Reserve, it amends the tachometer with a dial providing a 0-100% scale of available engine power. Underscoring all this wonder is a huge 10.25” color TFT screen. Smartphones have their own storage compartment protected from water and ventilated by an electric fan.
Radar sensors adjust speed depending on your presets with Motorrad Active Cruise Control. Front fairing, wind deflectors and windshields create state of the art “climate control”. Top Case with back rest offers 47 liters of storage while each side case carries an additional 27 liters. Marshall Gold Series high spec speakers, heated seats, floorboards, heel/toe shifters, engine protector bars with highway pegs, more creature comforts, and redesigned steering that makes it ride like a much lighter bike.
The 18B and TC will be here this week, just in time for BMW’s National R18 DEMO Day on Saturday Sept. 18th.
THIS IS THE ONE TO RIDE for an entirely new perspective on motorcycling.
2021 R18 First Edition/Cruisers still carry multiple incentives including 1.9% financing thru BMWFS thru September 30th, and we have a nice selection including our jewel toned 1 of 1 customs at just about $2500 more.
