A Word from Pastor Sam
Good afternoon Fellowship,
Autumn is in the air today! It is Arkansas of course, so I doubt that our summer weather is fully finished. Still, this weather makes me excited for the months ahead. I always look forward to the changing colors of the trees, the fun winter festivities, and the annual church events like the Chili Cookoff. This season is truly special.
Church, there is a need among us that needs to be met. Currently, we do not have enough teachers for our kid's ministry on Sunday mornings to operate efficiently. There is still no kid's ministry during the second service, and there is a need for several teachers and helpers during the first service. This need must be met.
Brothers and sisters, I am asking you to serve. I am asking you to stir up the next generation to faith in Jesus Christ. For the sake of the next generation, for the glory of God, and for the living Christ we all love and treasure, I ask you to serve by teaching in the kid's ministry. PRAYER FOCUS
Church, let us pray for teachers to rise up for our kid's ministry. Let us all pray, asking ourselves if we are called to meet this need. Let us be willing to say, as Isaiah said, "Here am I. Send me." Let us also pray for our kids. Let us pray that they would understand both their need for Him and His love for them. Let us pray that they would choose to follow Him. Let us pray.

It's an exciting time in the Fellowship Kids' Ministry! We are gradually seeing more and more kids (Toddlers through 5th grade) coming back to church. Over the course of one child's year, we have 52 opportunities (if they come to church every single Sunday) to connect with their family, influence them and share the Gospel message of Jesus. As our classes grow at the 9am service, and we look forward to opening classes for the 10:45 service, we need a few great people to step in to lead (using hands-on/video led curriculum by Orange), play, sing, game, and just enjoy sharing Jesus with Fellowship Kids! Substitutes are always needed too! If you can commit a semester, or month or just one or two Sundays a month, Fellowship Kids may be just the place for you to serve! Let's help train up the next generation!

Fellowship Fit news...
After three incredible years, it is time to close the chapter on our outreach ministry, Fellowship Fit. The last class will be on September 30. Julie Beary, Certified Fitness Coach, has made this difficult decision in order to have more time with Baby Beary who will arrive soon. Fellowship Fit has welcomed, encouraged, and prayed over 109 women! It has also raised almost $2,300 for local nonprofit organizations. We praise God for the ways He has used Fellowship Fit to bless the women in our church and in our community!
Fellowship Fit will continue to meet Tuesdays and Thursdays through September 30th.

Fellowship Student Campout!
All 6th-12th grade students are invited to the 3rd annual Student Campout on Oct. 8th-9th! Students can sign up on Wednesday nights. Please contact Pastor Sam with any questions.

Fellowship Kids' Ministry
Here's what to expect on Sundays:
- We will continue to have Fellowship Kids during first service only. Please pray about volunteering - we'd love to have it during both services!
- All families should Check in at the computer on the first floor and receive a name tag for each child and a tag for adult.
- All kids will check in and go right to their classrooms.
- This fall K-5 will worship together then break into small groups for their Bible Story and activities.
- The Toddler and PreK rooms are staffed with wonderful volunteers ready to share God's amazing story with them through worship, video lesson, and memory verse activities! Water and snack provided! Let us know if there is an allergy!!
- The Nursery is open as a Cry Room for parents of children under one. Audio of the sermon is available in that room along with any toys or changing needs.

Joy of Living Women's Bible Study
Joy of Living Women’s Community Bible study is going online this fall. This year’s study will be in the book of Romans with small zoom classes meeting on Tuesday mornings at 10:00am or Tuesday nights at 6:30pm. Classes start September 7th and run through November 9th. Mom's Day Out is back!
It's official! Mom's Day Out has started back. We will be open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 until 12:30. You can call the Fellowship office at 870-698-9244 for more info on MDO. We still need a few subs, so please contact Carrie Swinea at 870-974-0153 for more info on being a sub. Please know we will take all health precautions with your kiddos. Hope to see you there!
