A note from Manisha...

We get affected by many outer things and the inner conditions of our body and mind. This is because we identify with them, accept them and allow them to rob us of our inner peace. 

For example, when someone says something we don’t like, or the weather changes for the worse, we get upset and complain. When the body gets sick or ages, we say, “I’m sick” or “I’m getting old”. When we experience feelings such as anger we say, “I’m angry”

There is a powerful affirmation that will help to calm your mind. It comes from the ancient spiritual writings of the Bhagavad Geeta. It is very effective in bringing inner peace whenever you need it. 

This is the topic of my latest blog post, An Affirmation to Invoke Your Higher Self.

The higher Self is the peaceful inner witness that is untouched by outer conditions and the vagaries of the body and mind. 

The affirmation in the article turns your mind’s attention to the fact that you are the observer and what you are aware of is merely the observed. This affirmation contains food for thought. It conveys timeless spiritual wisdom and is a potent remedy for the restlessness of the mind.
