College Testing

On OCTOBER 13, 2021, Lincoln High School will be offering the PSAT for grades 10 and 11 and the SAT for 12th graders in school. While many colleges no longer require SAT or ACT scores, dates are currently available for both tests. All students will create a College Board Account (required to take the test) during Mentorship next week. Students need to use a personal email address, not a school email address.

Below are links for each site, along with useful resources for preparation and practice tests.

The PTSA invites families to help load up snack bags with grab-and-go treats for staff to enjoy on Wednesday, September 29th, during their staff meeting. After early dismissal, staff collaborates as a team and by department on curriculum, professional development, equity, and other matters. Let's fortify them for the afternoon with healthy and sweet treats and a beverage.

Please sign up to drop off specified food and beverage items, lunch bags, and cups to the main office on Tuesday, September 28th. We will assemble the snack bags on Wednesday before the meeting.

For now, current SPS COVID safety guidelines restrict us from serving homemade or buffet-style foods. Thank you for participating, and look for this opportunity again in October.

Photo Information

Retakes
Photo re-takes are on October 15th and are only for students who missed or whose families ordered photos.

Senior Yearbook Photos

Seniors who want to change their photo in the yearbook to be something other than their ID photo can upload a senior picture here. Choose “portrait” and not “general photos” to submit.

The photos need to be:
  • Vertical (portrait) orientation
  • 2:3 aspect ratio
  • High resolution
If a student would like senior pictures but cannot afford them, please have them reach out to their counselor as early as possible. For any other questions about senior photos, please reach out to Alex Snyder.

LHS Admin Notes

  • If running start students arrive early, they can wait for class to begin in the library.
  • If you purchased an ASB card, students can get their sticker added to their ID during lunch from Mr. Lee on the north side of the commons.
  • Please email or send a written note to the attendance office to alert them of your student’s absence as soon as possible (no more than two days after an absence). Include your student’s name and the reason for the absence.
  • Clubs and meeting times are posted for students to see on ASB the Schoology page and a list in the commons.
