We are building a national network for belonging
For the past year, “Stop Asian Hate” has been the rallying cry for 23 million Asian Americans and allies. Since our launch, we have been laser-focused on using TAAF’s unique position to protect AAPI communities from hate now and in the future. We know that addressing hate alone is not enough. We want to ensure belonging and help in building a multicultural democracy. We know it is possible.
That is why we want to unleash the resources and tools necessary to take on the crisis of hate and create a broader sense of belonging. Next Thursday, September 30 at 2 pm ET, TAAF will co-host a virtual event with NextShark: “From Hate to Hope - Building a National Network for Belonging.” I will be joined by AAPI elected officials, community leaders, and journalists to discuss how we end the cycle of hate and create a bold vision for belonging. We hope you will join us and RSVP.
Together, we can transform not only the way our AAPI community is seen, but also how we are understood by other communities. Please join us next week and our efforts, as we can only do this together.
Best regards,
Sonal Shah
