Lion's Pride Annual Campaign

Will You Go All In for All of Us?

Donate Today!

We are thrilled to announce that after two short weeks, the Lion’s Pride Annual Campaign has raised over $100,000! Thank you to all the donors who have generously given to support our school. Please click here to see our Lion’s Pride Honor Roll of donors to date.

Your Gifts in Action
Your donations are supporting tools the children and teachers use daily, such as Friday Folders and the SeeSaw Application.

Upon returning to school, our teachers along with Ms. Boston, our Media Specialist, identified the need for individual headphones for students. EREF was able to purchase 400 sets for testing and everyday use, providing E. Rivers students a 1:1 ratio.

If you have not already done so, please consider making a gift to the Lion's Pride Annual Campaign. Every gift makes a difference! All donors who make a gift or pledge by October 15 will receive a Lion's Pride yard sign. Don't miss this opportunity to show your pride. DONATE today.

Custodian Day

October 1

National Custodian Day is Friday, October 1, so let's honor our wonderful custodial staff, Ms. Tricia Tucker, Mr. Frankie Burgess, and Mr. Chris Penson (Mr. P).  Throughout next week, please have students bring in cards, artwork and letters to let our team know how much we appreciate them! There will be a box set-up at the welcome desk all week where we will collect items and then present to the staff on Friday.

The E. Rivers Veterans Day Celebration Returns!

November 11

We are excited to announce the return of the E. Rivers Annual Veterans Day celebration on Thursday morning, November 11.

We would like to honor any parents, guardians, siblings, grandparents, aunts, uncles and great grandparents of E. Rivers students who are currently serving or who have served our country within any branch of the Armed Services.

Veterans and their families are invited to attend the flag raising ceremony followed by the Veterans Day program and parade. For those veterans who can not attend in person, we would like to recognize them by showing a picture of them in uniform during the program.

If you would like your veteran to be recognized, please register here. The deadline to register is October 31st.

Everyone in attendance will be required to wear masks and this will be a socially distanced event.

If you have any questions, please contact Megan Watkins at meganuga@aol.com.

BASC-3 Parent Survey

Complete by October 1

You may now complete the BASC-3 BESS parent survey by accessing the link below.

https://review360connect.com/Prod/AtlantaPublicSchools/Parent

As a reminder, the BASC-3 screener is a district initiative that will allow you, your child (3rd-5th graders), and your child's teacher to assess behavioral and emotional strengths and growth opportunities in students in grades K-12.

The universal social, emotional, behavior screener that was chosen by the District is the BASC-3 BESS or the Behavioral and Emotional Screening System. It is to be used for screening purposes only and is not a tool to diagnose students and there is no specialized training required to administer it.

This week, your child's teacher should have contacted you directly with a link to access the website to complete your parent rating. Please note that you will need to have your child's student ID number to complete the survey. This information can be found on Parent Portal, the most recent report, or you may contact the front office if additional assistance is needed to get your child's student ID number.

*Digital Administration is available in English and Spanish. If you need the screener in an alternative language, please contact the E. Rivers front office for a paper version of the screener.

When: Fall Semester September 16- October 1

Who: K- 12th - self-rating (3rd-5th), parent rating (K- 5) and screened by the teacher and/or staff (K-5)

--------------------------------------------

https://review360connect.com/Prod/AtlantaPublicSchools/Parent

Quienes: K- 12. ° - autoevaluación (de 3. ° a 5.
