THIS WEEK AT THE MARKET
There's a number of events happening in Urbana this Saturday. Kick off your morning with a stroll through Urbana's Market at the Square. Plenty of tasty things to be had, from tomatoes to pastries, and what are sure to be the last peaches of the season. Get out early and get revved up with some cold brew and a pastry.

Afterward you can check out Made Fest (parking lot next to The Rose Bowl) starting at 12pm. It's part of the on going Pygmalion. Later in the day there's The 2021 Pride Fest Parade kicking off at 3:00 PM in downtown Urbana.

Pawpaw Trees only for sale - sorry no fruit.

These grafted pawpaw trees are selected from newly developed cultivars and a few old favorite varieties. They are superior in flavor and size as compared to most wild seedling pawpaws. They have much less seed content and typically have a unique quality that people really love (deep colored flesh, unusually sweet, very large, heavy fruit production etc).

2 different varieties of trees are needed for pollination and fruit setting. If you have a wild pawpaw trees then planting one of the cultivars will also work as they will pollinate each other.

Trees come in a 4.5" wide by 15" deep pot and are $35 cash and carry.

Compassion & Choices, Illinois

We work across the nation in communities, state legislatures, Congress, courts and medical settings to:
  • Educate the public about the importance of documenting end-of-life values and priorities and about the full range of available options.
  • Empower every individual with achievable options, authoritative information and constructive advice for guiding their care and engaging with their providers.
  • Advocate for expanded choices, secure and ready access to them and improved medical practice that puts patients first and values quality of life in treatment plans for terminal illness.
  • Defend existing end-of-life options from efforts to restrict access.
  • Information about these options is available at our resource table.
