Hello, friends and supporters -

We just learned this afternoon that a member of the Fahrenheit 451 cast has tested positive for COVID-19. As a result, the performances scheduled from Thursday, September 23 through Sunday, September 26 are cancelled.

While we assess the health and well-being of everyone in the cast and crew, we are hopeful we might be able to keep next week's performance for off-campus audiences on Saturday, October 2 at 8pm, as well as add a matinee on Sunday, October 3 at 2:30pm. If all goes well, we hope to be able to add one more performance for off-campus audiences on Friday, October 8 at 8pm.

I am so sorry about this occurrence and for having to cancel or reschedule - yet again! - these much-awaited performances. We will keep you updated as soon as we are able to confirm plans. As soon as we know how to best proceed, I will assist you in securing tickets or issuing refunds.

Thank you for your patience, prayers, and good wishes.

Margaret Petrey Smith
Marketing Director - The Abbey Players
