How do you feel about personality tests? I have to admit that I’m kind of a skeptic. To me, it often seems that folks go through life blaming parts of themselves on their personality types, or putting other people into boxes based on what type they think that person to be.

A few years ago, though, I learned about the Enneagram, and as author Ian Cron says, the Enneagram has helped me start to “get out of my own way and be who God created me to be.” The enneagram has been a tool for me to practice self-compassion, reflect on the best and worst parts of who I am, and cultivate greater empathy for others.

On Thursday nights in September and October, our faith conversations will be centered around the Enneagram, and how we can see ourselves more like God sees us: as unique and beloved children.

Even if you’re skeptical about personality tests too, I hope you’ll join us. No test required, and meaningful and interesting conversations guaranteed.

We won’t put you in a box, but we’ll do our best to help you love yourself more like God loves you.

See you soon,
