Register Now for AACIPM's Webinar:

Bridging Self Care and Comprehensive Pain Management in Program and Payment Designs

In honor of September being Awareness Month for Pain, Self Care, and Suicide Prevention, AACIPM is collaborating with our partners to spread awareness and deepen connections and understanding regarding the intersection of these three important issues.

Chronic pain affects one in five people and has a substantial impact on a person’s ability to function at home and at work. Competence in self-care is a crucial component of a whole person, comprehensive, integrative approach to pain management. Thus, it is imperative that payers, purchasers, and providers of healthcare more fully understand self-care strategies for pain management and how to integrate self-care into existing models of care, payment designs and daily life.

During this webinar, we’ll explore these issues with leaders who represent patients, mid-to-large employers, the financial/return on investment side, and the team involved with one unique payer-provider partnership in Vermont, the Comprehensive Pain Program (see Duke's new case study about them).

Register for free to attend our 90-minute webinar, Bridging Self Care and Comprehensive Pain Management in Program and Payment Designs, to be held on September 28 from 12:30-2:00 pm ET.

In the spirit of connecting the dots across stakeholders to achieve the greatest possible impact, we are grateful to our collaborators, Whole Health InstituteMidwest Business Group on HealthThe Pain CommunityUniversity of Vermont Medical Center, and KnoWEwell Live.
