You are the one. Yes, it’s you.

You are the only one who can give yourself permission to be who you really are.

You are the only one who can fully engage in your own life.

You are the one who has to say yes to your dreams and commit to taking the action to go after them.

You are the one who must tell yourself the truth about what you really want and who you really are.

You are the one.

It’s always been you. It will always be you.

What would it look like to finally tell yourself the truth about what you want? Would you have the courage to say things you currently only say in your head? Would you step up and show up in your life differently? Would you engage with others in a deeper, more intimate way?

Here’s what I know for sure. You are not the stories you’ve been telling yourself. These stories keep you stuck in a perpetual fog. And the more you “develop,” the more complex your stories become. But they are still just stories.

All the beliefs about who you should be and how you should show up, all of the why’s - why you can’t do this, why you can’t be that, why you are the way you are. It’s all bullshit. Sometimes it's elegant and beautiful bullshit, but it’s bullshit all the same. 

And you can stop telling yourself these stories, anytime you want.

I’d like you to consider this: You are never going to feel all the way ready. You’ve been on the road of self-development for a long time now and you will never be all the way developed. There is no end to this road. If you are waiting to reach a destination, you are already off track.
