Sunday 3 October
10.30am Sunday Celebration at Grace Fellowship, Little Stukeley
Colossians - The letter in context. Led by Delia Steer
11.30am Zoom tea & coffee
1.15pm Songs of Praise
on BBC1
7.00pm Generation Rising at GBC
As we begin to hold some of our activities at GBC and Grace Fellowship, we need to continue to follow sensible guidelines about keeping ourselves and others safe. This includes asking people:
  • not to attend if they have Covid symptoms,
  • to sanitise hands on arrival and during their time on the premises, and
  • to wear a mask when moving around the building (can be removed when seated)
We will also have to limit numbers for capacity reasons and have implemented a booking system. Click here to book for this coming Sunday. It may be that demand exceeds available spaces so those trying to book later may receive a 'full' response. We will try to manage this by asking people who are present one week to not book in for the following week until the Friday - to give others a chance to book spaces - BUT IF THERE ARE SPACES AVAILABLE ON FRIDAY, GO AHEAD AND BOOK.
For those unable to use online booking, please phone the church office on 01480 458565 from Tuesday morning and we can book your space for you.
Fantastic News from Karen Smith about the Community Sponsorship Group
'Just to let you know I was nominated by Cambridgeshire Live for one of their 2021 Hero Awards as project lead for Godmanchester Community Sponsorship Group and was one of three finalists in one of seven categories -‘Community Action’. John and I attended a dinner and awards presentation ceremony on Tuesday evening at St Barnabus Church in Mill Road, Cambridge. It was a wonderfully positive evening with lots of incredible stories, some of them heart wrenching. To my great surprise, I won the category award and was also then pronounced overall Cambridgeshire Live Hero 2021. I accepted the award on behalf of GBC, the real actual heroes. I prayed beforehand that God would be glorified and I think He was. I know almost everyone involved would say, like me, it’s only because of His wonderful grace that we can ever do anything in His service. As always, it’s all about Him.'

In Matthew 16:15 Jesus challenges his disciples with this question “Who do you say I am?”  What would be your reply?  Will you give yourself time and space to listen and discover more about who Jesus is? In the month of September in our “Room to Reflect” we will focus on “I am the bread of life”. Our “Room to Reflect” is open on Fridays between 9.00am and 1.00pm. You can book to come at other times if you cannot make it on Fridays – please contact the church office.
