When our children’s ministry team first started dreaming about starting an Awana Club at Chapel, we had no idea of how God would stir hearts to be involved with this program that is all about child discipleship. Here’s what God has been doing:
25 families have registered to participate.
46 children ranging from age 2 - 6th grade have signed up.
10 adult volunteers have committed to serve every single week. These adults are from varied backgrounds: singles, parents, and grandparents.
4 youth helpers will be serving weekly.
Not only is God reaching Chapel families, He’s also prompted several families from the Metrowest community to register!
Please join us in praising God for how He has gone before us, touching hearts to be involved in child discipleship.
Because of the great response, I am also asking for volunteers who would consider serving just once a month to listen to children recite their verse and help create a safe environment during our game time. No preparation is required - only a heart that loves the Lord and His children!
