~ December News ~

Dear friends,
This is such a busy time of year for everyone but I really just wanted to quickly pop by your mailbox to say Thank You.

Thank you for your lovely support which allows and encourages me to keep stitching and creating new pieces of embroidery.
Each time you read a newsletter, like or comment on a post on Instagram or Facebook or order one of my kits or patterns to stitch, you help me continue to pursue my passion for embroidery.
As a token for my gratitude, I am sending you a little gift at the end of this newsletter.

Tulips & Forget-me-nots

You may have noticed that I have not added a lot of new designs to the SHOP lately. It is not because, I haven't been productive but because I am busily beavering away in the background on a rather involved project, or rather projects.

You see, I have started work on a collection of new designs for a book. Yes, It is super exciting!
I don't want to completely spoil the surprise, which is part of the reason I haven't had a lot of news to share, but you may have seen the odd little snippet of some of the work in progress if you follow my blog (yes, I have returned to writing there) or other social media spots.

RING of HEARTS coaster

However, as I mentioned at the beginning ~ I wanted to make a little something for you and came up with this Ring of Hearts and made it into a pretty but practical coaster.

After stitching the first, I couldn't resist but trying it in a different colourway.

The design is quite simple: four stitches & four colours of stranded cotton.

The design is embroidered onto a small piece of sturdy cotton and backed with a print cotton to match the colours - all things most of us have in our stash.
