Cluster Updates

New Staff

This month we are welcoming 6 new part-time staff who will be supporting our knowledge translation initiatives and cluster evaluation efforts. Welcome to the team! Another shout out goes to Arrthy and Rebecca who will continue in their staff roles this year.

Volunteer Appreciation

We know it’s not National Volunteer Week, but we just couldn’t wait another year to say THANK YOU to everyone who supports one of our many projects. Whether it’s organizing our Trainee Research Presentation Series, working with our Perinatal Mental Health, SES or SGBA Working Groups, supporting the Women’s Health Interrupted podcast or the Women’s Health Blog—we owe a great deal of our success to you. Thank you for being a part of our journey and helping create a future where women can live equitably healthy lives.

“My research on PCOS uses critical discourse theory and analysis which have been important tools for me all through academia. This methodology looks at what the language we use tells us about the social context we’re in. It assesses the ways in which the words we use (consciously and unconsciously) create and maintain social inequalities and systems of power.” Read more.
