The group will utilize the core principles of #Disrupttexts to guide the work of building diverse and inclusive teaching and learning practices and pedagogies. Starts October 12.

Diving Deeper into PBL
Want to take a deeper dive into how Project Based Learning can be used in your classroom? During this school year virtual community, we will use The Collaborative Classroom by Trevor
Muir as a guide for this community. The community will meet virtually throughout the school year, and Trevor will also join for a few sessions to help guide the group through integrating PBL into classrooms! All participants will receive a copy of The Collaborative Classroom!

Starts October 25.

Our ESL Program Specialist Certification provides training and professional development for educators to be fully prepared to meet the needs of English Learners (ELs) in their schools. The 6-course sequence focuses on :

An introduction to terminology in the field of English Language Development (ELD), information about regulations, how to learn more about your multilingual learners, and the basics of language acquisition.

Gifted Boot Camp


Conducted by Western and Eastern PA Gifted Liaisons working with the Pennsylvania Department of Education, this course will include an overview of PA's definition of gifted education, Chapter 16 and a review of the forms that support gifted education. Attendees will be asked to complete small assignments.
