I've had a busy summer preparing for the fall and here it is already, but I wanted to share some news and invite you to a very busy Beaufort beginning this October!

I've been invited to participate in an exhibit at USCB Center for the Arts, featuring 31 Abstract Artists from Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina. The "Visual Conversations" exhibit runs October 22, - December 13, 2021, with a reception on Thursday, November 18 from 5p-7p. I'd love to see you there! www.uscbcenterforthearts.com

Myself and a couple of artists got together earlier this summer to revive Beaufort's Fall Art Walk, renaming it Lowcountry Art Celebration. We rounded up 13 downtown art galleries for this celebration, and it too is on Friday, October 22 from 4:30p-9p, and the talent will not disappoint! We will have glass art and framing demos, as well as a watercolor artists sharing his "tips and tricks." There is even a pumpkin decorating event for the kiddos at Coastal Art Supply. Two nice door prizes are being offered, too. The grand prize is a night at the Cuthbert House Inn and dinner for two at Saltus, and prize #two is dinner for two at Breakwater.

And if that's not enough, Beaufort Art Association, one of the participating Lowcountry Art Celebration Galleries, is presenting its annual All Member Show from September 28 - January 2, 2022. www.beaufortartassociation.com 

And not least, that weekend, October 22nd - 24th is the Historic Beaufort Foundation Annual Tour of Homes and Gardens. Check out their website www.historicbeafort.org for tickets and more information.
