Latest News from Hoxton Health

Dear Supporter

We hope you are enjoying the Autumn.  From the 29th September we will be open Tuesdays - Fridays and some Mondays too.  Please bear with us if you are phoning and do leave a message as we are a very small organisation and can't always get to the phone if we are dealing with someone on reception.  We have a lot of news to share this month.

Free  Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) course
Thanks to Hackney Giving we are able to run an 8 week course of Mindulness from early October at Pembury Community Centre Dalston Lane .  The course has been described as 'life changing' by previous participants, and   is aimed at people who are struggling with anxiety or stress, but can benefit people living with pain or depression.

It was the most successful of the funded Connect Hackney programmes a few years ago and they made a short film about it here Mindfulness. Connect Hackney - YouTube.  The course will run weekly from 4th October - 22nd November 10-12.30 at Pembury Community Centre
If you are interested in doing the course please call us on 0207 739 2533 or email us on reception@hoxtonhealth.org with your contact details  and Esperanza will contact you to give more details

Annmarie O'Sullivan is joining Jo to extend our Osteopathy Sessions . Annmarie is also  working  in private clinics and has experience both as an osteopath and prior to that  as a sports masseur.  Annmarie will start on the 6th October so please do call and book if you are interested in seeing an osteopath.
