FRESH WORKS JUST FOR YOU

Come visit the Regis West Gallery and view new works by 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year MFA graduate students as part of Fresh Works. The exhibition runs through October 2nd and features a wide range of media by Namir Fearce, Olivia Gallenberger, Cody Hilleboe, Nadia Kellner,  Camila Leiva, Stephanie Lindquist, Julia Maiuri, Nik Nerburn, Lela Pierce, Whalen Polikoff, Prerna, Calvin Stalvig, Hawona Sullivan Janzen, and Hayden Teachout. Gallery hours are Tuesdays and Fridays from 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM, and Saturdays from 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM.   • "Practice Night" at MirrorLab | THURS SEPT 23 from 7-10 PM
    Visit MirrorLab, a studio collective and programming space in South Minneapolis, this Thursday, September 24 from 7-10 PM. They'll have an amazing photo booth set-up, musical performances, merch for sale, projections, and an interactive sound installation as part of "Practice Night." The analog photo booth will be managed by Zoey Melf, Forrest Wasko, and MFA alum Sam Hoolihan.   • Call for Undergrad Studio Research Asst | $15 per hour | DUE SEPT 23 
    Faculty Corinne Teed is currently looking to hire an undergraduate student as a research assistant for the fall semester. Teed’s work includes printmaking, book arts, and active collaborations with writers, artists, and scientists. As a research assistant this fall, you will assist with studio production of prints, artist books, and experiments in sculptural printmaking. The research assistant will also help in organizing the studio space and keeping a production timeline for projects. Learn more about the position and how to apply.

Celebrate the launch of the Public Life Project (PLP) with a screening of our Twin Cities PBS shorts and a discussion with College of Liberal Arts faculty experts on polarization, misinformation, religious literacy, debate design, and more. 

The PLP is hosting a screening of four shorts produced by TPT and sharing how CLA faculty and students are developing the knowledge and skills needed to grapple with polarizing divisions and inequalities, engage empathetically with others, and prepare for active, meaningful public lives.
