The Latest

The weather is turning, kids are back in school and it really feels like fall is here! Halloween is just around the corner too - have you got your costume all planned out? It's wonderful to have families in the Museum this fall and we appreciate all of you for making the most of our open hours, for your support of our staff and for continuing to bring laughter and play to the Museum!

For the foreseeable future we will maintain our Tuesday through Saturday sessions, with online reservations encouraged but not required. You are welcome to walk-in during one of our session times without a reservation - typically with no space issues - but space is not guaranteed. Register to visit by clicking here.

As we move into what is typically cold and flu season, we remind everyone that when it comes to germs and other commutable diseases "sharing is NOT caring"! Please postpone your visit until those of you that would visit are clear of coughs, sniffles and fevers - without the help of medicines! Though masks are still required in the Museum for everyone over 3 years of age, we ask that everyone do their part to keep our Museum community healthy by staying home if you're unwell.

Many thanks to all those who voted for us in the Skagit's Best 2021 presented by Perry Family Dentistry! We're so honored to have won in the Museum category!

In The Community

Diaper need – the lack of a sufficient supply of diapers to keep a baby or toddler clean, dry, and healthy – remains a serious and pervasive issue that impacts the physical, mental, and economic well-being of U.S. children and families. UWSC believes that in order to meet our kindergarten readiness goal, we must address this critical need for families.

We are hoping to distribute 300,000 diapers this year, but in order to do that we need DIAPERS! For this drive we're looking to gather 36,000 diapers.
