NTX Giving Day is today and Dogs Matter wants your support!
Each year we help nearly 100 clients get into addiction treatment programs while providing free, temporary foster care for their beloved dogs.
This year alone we have grown over 200% with more people seeking inpatient treatment and reaching out to us than ever before. You can help us serve more clients and their dogs by donating today. A donation of just $25 qualifies for enhanced bonus funds and prizes from Communities Foundation of Texas, making your gift even more impactful.
Our clients have the opportunity to participate in our Aftercare Program upon successful completion of treatment and reunion with their dog. We have found that 75% of our clients who participate in this program still have their dog, have safe housing, and continue to work on their recovery without relapse during their first 12 months. Very few treatment programs are able to follow and stay in contact with a client after treatment for a significant amount of time. With their dog as an incentive, our clients are motivated to work with our Aftercare Program staff and stay connected in the recovery community which gives them a stronger chance at long-term sobriety.
