Equinox Virtual Star Party Rescheduled to Sept. 27, 7:30 pm

Due to technical difficulties, the online Equinox Star Party originally scheduled for Sept. 21 has been rescheduled to Monday Sept. 27 at 7:30 p.m.

The star party will be moderated by Dark Sky Maine President Nancy Hathaway and will feature:

John Meader, Director of Northern Stars Planetarium and Dark Sky Maine VP, will share the skies of fall virtually online.
Serena Sanborn, Master Maine Naturalist, and Educational and Outreach Manager for Waterville Creates, will share her insightful look at wildlife that needs dark skies to survive.

If you have already registered for the Equinox Star Party originally schedule for Sept. 21, your registration will automatically be added to the new date and time on Sept. 27.

To register for the free star party, send an email to darkskymaine@gmail.com and ask to be registered for the Equinox Star Party on 9-27-21. We’ll be sending out a Zoom link during the day on Monday.
