Cybersecurity Matters, Right?!
Presented by April Boyd-Noronha, University of Saint Mary

Breaches, Hacks, and Cyber Attacks - Oh My!! Cybersecurity matters, more so than ever before. It doesn't matter whether you are well-versed and experienced or don't even know where to start. One thing is for sure, everyone has a role in keeping your computing environment secure from cyber threats. Attendees will learn practical steps to take to mitigate and manage the risks of cyber attacks. It's not rocket science, but there IS a method to the madness.

Discover better business prevention measures, common sense practices, and simple steps to implement now that will help better position yourself, your employees, and your business against attack. Remember, it's not about IF, but WHEN a security breach will occur. Be proactive, be prepared.

April Boyd-Noronha is a Professor of Cybersecurity and a STEM DEI consultant for girls, women, and underserved populations of learners. She also serves as a global DEI Advisor for cybersecurity and emerging trends such as XR (extended reality).

Presented by Wendy Gentry, MBA, Ph.D., Baker University

The Lunch and Learn workshop offers practical advice to help you:

  1. Clear the decision making clutter
  2. Avoid the traps and pitfalls in judgment
  3. Define your next move
