We have received some great abstracts for the conference. But, we also recognize that the deadline was earlier than normal this year, so we want to make sure people are able to submit an abstract who are wrapping up field seasons or starting new semesters.
We have extended the deadline for submitting an abstract to October 1.
Please consider submitting an abstract for an oral presentation, poster, or working group session at the annual conference, to be held on December 16 and 17, 2021. We encourage presentations related to the theme of the conference, Facing Change: Reimagining forested communities in a time of disruption. Abstracts will be considered for any aspect of forest ecosystem science, resource management, or public policy related to forest ecosystems in the northern temperate forest region. The event will be hybrid with options for in-person or online participation, including presenting remotely.
