Fall has arrived and with it, the leaves are changing, the weather is chilling, and our golf season is rapidly coming to an end. If you're ready to get out on the golf course before the snow flies, book a tee-time below! Despite our progress with the pandemic, there are still some mandated safety guidelines that our golfers are expected to follow; the list can be found here.

Thank you to all who participated in our annual Club Championships! It was great to return to the links for the summer and see everyone enjoying the course. And congrats to our 2 golfers who hit a hole-in-one, both on the 5th hole!

The SPGC Golf Pro: Mike Gascho
|
|
Some quick facts about our PGA Class "A" professional, Mike Gascho:
- His mother, Mary, worked in the Pro Shop and went on to manage SPGC
- He started playing golf at age 7 when Mary brought him to work with her
- He was 11 when he started working at SPGC
- Graduated from Georgian College's Professional Golf Course Management Program in 2000
- Turned pro in 2001
- In 2016, Mary retired and Mike took over as SPGC's Director of Golf Operations

Golf Etiquette:
Keeping our course in peak condition takes a team effort, both from our greens crew as well as from our members and guests. We appreciate your attention to repairing any ball marks that occur during your round. If you have any questions about course etiquette and how to do your part in keeping to course pristine, don't hesitate to ask for advice in the Pro Shop.
