You are one of our valued guests at Dreamland Safari Tours. Thanks for being along for the adventure.
It's official: fall has arrived in Kanab.  The days are beautiful, and early mornings and late evenings are starting to bring the crisp promise of changing seasons.  Here at Dreamland Safari Tours, this means our favorite time of year is underway.

This year, we're celebrating the arrival of fall with something special: a new Dreamland Safari Tours storefront in downtown Kanab! We recently opened our new Guest Welcome & Office area directly in the town of Kanab, in an easy-to-find spot right next to the Travelodge.  The downtown office now serves as our new meeting location for any tour guests who haven't requested to be picked up at their hotel/vacation rental/RV park.
If you swing by, you'll also be able to find free coffee & hot chocolate, as well as our awesome office crew Paul, Bre, Chris, and Sunny and potentially even shop dog Dasher who must surely be the sweetest, gentlest husky in Kanab. Come by and visit us: we are always happy to help you with information about the area and tips on what to do and see on your own without a guide. Our new address is 406 E 300 S, Kanab, UT 84741, and we're open from 8am until 5:30pm daily.

We also happily accept walk-in tour bookings at our new location, though we have very limited availability left over the next few weeks into early October.  If you have a specific date in mind when you're hoping to adventure with us in Peekaboo Slot Canyon, White Pocket, the Wave or anywhere else... make sure to book ahead with plenty of lead time!

Remember the beautiful Desert Dreams Wall Calendar that we produced for 2021?  It was so popular that we've decided to make it an annual tradition.  We're happy to say that the 2022 Desert Dreams calendar with new, original imagery from the landscapes we so love is now available in our (brand-new!) online store.  There, you'll also be able to find other Kanab memorabilia like postcards, t-shirts, and more.  Check it out!

Of course, you're also able to buy the 2022 Desert Dreams calendar (plus any other Dreamland merchandise) at our new store. And Kanab's excellent small-town gear store, the Willow Canyon, also stocks the Desert Dreams calendar.

Get Yours
If you've called the Dreamland Safari Tours office this year, there's a good chance that you've had a conversation with Bre. Born and raised in Kanab, Bre packed up and left for Florida when she was 23 -- but, lucky for us, she decided to return to her hometown where the rocks are a deeper shade of red, the sky a more vibrant blue, and the canyons deeper than most anywhere in the country.

Bre has been working magic to help our guests (you!) plan adventures and answer questions since February of this year, and we count ourselves lucky to have her as Dreamland's original Tour Experience Coordinator. In her spare time, you'll often find Bre dangling on a rope as she descends one of the many canyons in the greater Kanab area.

Here's what Bre has to say about Dreamland and her passions:

When did you first start working for Dreamland?
February of 2021

Where are you originally from?
I was born and raised in Kanab, Utah

What's your favorite Dreamland tour or your favorite thing about Dreamland?
Ooo tough choice... I love South Coyote Buttes and its Dr.Seuss like features.  I'm also a sucker for The Great Chamber, the color contrast is stunning. My favorite thing about Dreamland is the amazing people I get to work with.

If money was no object, what would you do all day?
If money was no object, I would spend my days doing yoga, nonstop canyoneering, and traveling to new beaches.

If you could live anywhere EXCEPT for the desert Southwest, where would you want to live?
Aruba

Can you share one of your favorite memories that you've made while working for Dreamland?
My very first tour with Dreamland, which was the Ultimate Kanab Tour. I learned so much about my hometown and places I have never seen before. It was quite eye-opening to see how much this little town can offer in just 8 hours.

Bre -- we are beyond stoked to have you as part of the Dreamland family.  It's hard to imagine that there was ever a time at Dreamland without your enthusiasm for adventure in and around Kanab, your kindness, and your genuine care to create the best experience possible for our guests. Thanks for all you do!

Parting words.
John Muir said it best, so we'll keep this one short and sweet today:

'Everybody needs beauty as well as bread, places to play in and pray in, where nature may heal and give strength to body and soul.'
