Autumn is here and we’re looking forward to cooler temperatures during our favorite travel season. For those who prefer temperate weather, fall foliage, and diminished crowds, this is your time to pack your bags and explore a different corner of this country.

With Mid-Autumn Festival and Golden Week right around the corner, we've got back-to-back opportunities for travel, and we hope you'll be joining us. However, traveling during the national holidays is not a novel idea (though we wish it was) so get in touch now if you're considering a journey.

Feeling ambivalent about where to go? We have handpicked this season's top destinations and curated a select offering of small group journeys to help make the decision easier. Limited spots are available on these journeys, so read on and get in touch to book before it’s too late!

WildChina Book Club:

House of Kwa by Mimi Kwa (Event #87)

Mimi turned grey overnight when she was informed that her father was suing her over the estate of her beloved Aunty Theresa. The seed of this collision had been sown long ago. In an attempt to understand how it had come to this, Mimi revisits the past in her book House of Kwa.

For our September book club, we're following an epic story spanning four generations of Mimi Kwa’s Chinese ancestry, from the imperial compound in Beijing, along silk and opium routes to southern China, across to Hong Kong and finally to Perth. Join us!
