#1. Federal Elections 2021

In the past 5 years, Canada has become the site for two mass shootings targeting Muslims in North America. Community building and community safety in the age of rising hate, Islamophobia, and white supremacy has been at the forefront of our minds.

The 2021 federal election presents a timely opportunity for Canadian Muslims to have their concerns voiced. Through voting, we elect officials and policymakers that address our needs and concerns in the office. The same policymakers that when elected will strengthen Canadian democracy by ensuring the final outcome is a truer reflection of an inclusive Canadian society.

Voting on Election day (Monday, September 20) starts at 9:30 AM Eastern Time. To get your voting kit, apply to vote by mail before 6:00 PM on Tuesday, September 14.
